Last Saturday, the 11th, we went on a trail drive! Yep, a real live cattle drive. It was a benefit event for Theraputic Riding Programs at Rocky Top Therapy Center in Keller, TX. We had such a good time. Several of Eric's management team and team members joined us on a wagon ride and some even rode horses. Collin enjoyed getting to see all of the horses and cattle. He mostly enjoyed some of the dogs that were out there running around. It's funny...of all those animals and the boy goes crazy over the dogs. Alekzander and Hailey got to ride on the wagon with us too...Collin had a good time playing with them while we rode for a few hours. Afterwards we had a chuckwagon lunch. The trail drive was in Ft Worth and started in the Stockyards area and followed the Trinity River. It was a pretty ride and a great way to see part of Ft Worth that we don't get to see often. Actually, I had never been to the Stockyards and I have always wanted to go. They handed out bandanas when we arrived and Collin had fun wearing one as a cape when we got home. I couldn't get him to eat any of the lunch except for the peach cobbler...yep, he got that from me! Hey...it had fruit in it.
Hailey is Curtis's daughter and Alekzander is Shannon's son...too cute. Hailey just reached out her hand and Alekzander took it.
Collin got up on the horse with Jerry. He didn't stay long though.

Getting started on the trail. We went along the side of the railroad tracks in the beginning.
There's Blackjack...the meanest, roughest, toughest Cowboy around...haha..yeah right. He was pretty funny though...we enjoyed him riding along side us for a few minutes.
Captain Cook to the rescue! Oh, wait I need to rest on this step for a second.
Here to save the day with my cape and cowboy hat on!
