Our sweet baby girl is 7 months old. It doesn't seem real how fast 7 months has gone by. We are trying to enjoy every minute of life right now. She is still a little thing, but is such a joy! Some things that she is doing right now are: crawling, pulling up, waving, laughing at her brother, eating baby food and sitting up on her own. Oh, and she loves pat-a-cake! The day before she was 6 months old she started doing this army crawl. It was so cute to watch her put her little arms out in front of her and pull herself across the floor. She was starting to sit up around that same time, but was wobbly from side to side. About a week before she was 7 months old, Eric and I were getting ready to head to an event. Eric had just walked in the house and came upstairs when I looked down at Riley and she was crawling across the floor! It was crazy. Ever since that day, she hasn't stopped. That was on a Sunday, and by Wednesday she was pulling up on the furniture to stand. It really feels like she is doing something new every day. We had lowered her crib mattress because she kept pulling up onto her knees, but now it seems as though we might have to lower it all the way to the lowest setting. We had hoped that since CC was a climber that she wouldn't be, but now we are afraid that she will be worse than him!! She truly is a blessing and we are so amazed at her. If there is a toy or something that she wants to get to, she doesn't get easily distracted on the way to reach it. We hope that this strong will is something that will carry on with her throughout her life.
