August Vacation

Riley went on her first road trip in August. We went to the lake for a couple of days and then went to Amarillo for the week. At the lake we had a great time with family and friends. During our time there our boat was in the shop and Tuffy worked on Todd's boat...and after their long day in the sun working on the boat, it caught on fire. Good times! We were thankful that no one was hurt. Tuffy did have a few singed hairs, but was okay.


Once we got to Amarillo we got to see Gran and Big Dog's new house! We loved it and it was wonderful to have our own room to stay in while we were in town. They had a few get togethers while we were there, so we were able to see most of the family and most of our friends. It is still tough to try and see everyone that we would like to see.


Eric and I had both grown up going to Wonderland Amusement park when we were little, so we were anxious to take Collin there. We took him for his first Wonderland adventure and he had a blast! My mom and sister joined us and got to see Collin ride all of the rides. Here is a video of him on the first ride that he rode...the boats!

I think he rode almost everything. He was even upset that he was too short for some of the bigger rides.
