Happy Holidays 09

This Holiday season has been so much fun. We have stayed really busy with things going on every week! We went home for Thanksgiving and got to see most of the family. It was a wonderful and relaxing trip. We also got to share our news with the family that we are expecting another baby in June of 2010. We are really excited and Collin is ready to be a big brother. Eric had his manager Christmas party the first week in December. The following week Eric had the party for his store. We decided to take C with us since everyone always likes to see him. He was quite the center of attention the entire night. He pretty much stayed on stage with Daddy to hand out awards and make announcements. I had to watch him because every time I turned around he was running up on stage. This is a picture of him dancing as people were arriving. Every year we let CC pick out an ornament for the tree. This year his choice was a train, of course, his favorite thing at the moment. He picked a spot and hung it on the tree.

At his preschool they had a Happy Birthday Jesus party. Collin got to blow out a candle after they sang. He thought that was pretty cool, birthday cakes happen to be another favorite of his.

Before Eric's manager party we stopped by Celebrate Colleyville. It was a fun event. Collin got to sled down a snow mountain, hang out in a police car (and yes, he was the only kiddo that got to do that). He has this funny thing lately where he likes to check out the exhaust coming from the cars when they are started...this started when it got colder, I guess because he can see the smoke. He was checking out the cop car and the officers thought he was cute, so he got to drive, turn on the lights, the siren, the works. NOTICE: I only let them put him in the front seat. One of the cops thought it might be funny to put him in the backseat, but I was not going to allow that!

Eric, Collin and myself all had a first together this year: riding a train! We all rode the North Pole Express. It was so much fun. They do a little show before the train ride and let some of the kids go up on stage to sing. We weren't going to send Collin up there, but he was going crazy to run up there. So, I followed him up and he went straight up the stands and in between some older kids. I got him on video...it's adorable. He's the smallest one up there in his puffy black coat and swaying back and forth. He is not afraid of a stage!

This is another video of Collin on stage. This is at Eric's store party.

We hope that everyone is enjoying this holiday season! Remember that Jesus is the reason for the season. God Bless and Merry Christmas!
